CREATION WAS FOR THE DOG
God created Dog.
Dog was kind of lost so...........
God created man to serve the dog.
Then, God had to create all the animals of the earth
to serve as potential food for the dog.
Dog was bored, so God created the tennis ball
so that the dog might, or might not, retrieve it.
Then, God created veterinary science
to keep the dog healthy and the man broke.
And last, God tried to rest,

You Play! I'll Sing!
Little Harold was practicing the violin in the living room while his father
was trying to read in the den. The family dog was lying in the den, and as
the screeching sounds of little Harold's violin reached his ears, he began to howl loudly.
The father listened to the dog and the violin as long as he could. Then he jumped up, slammed his paper to the floor and yelled above the noise, "For pity's sake, can't you play something the dog doesn't know?"
Being Human
If you can start the day without caffeine,
If you can get going without pep pills,
If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,
If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it,
If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time,
If you can overlook it when something goes wrong through no fault of yours and those you love take it out on you,
If you can take criticism and blame without resentment,
If you can ignore a friend's limited education and never correct him,
If you can resist treating a rich friend better that a poor friend,
If you can face the world without lies and deceit,
If you can conquer tension without medical help,
If you can relax without liquor,
If you can sleep without the aid of drugs,
If you can say honestly that deep in your heart you have no prejudice against creed, color, religion or politics,
Then, my friends,
you are almost as good
as your dog.
